Keisha Richards is an inspirational speaker, author, and entrepreneur who has made it her mission to empower women and help them find their purpose in life.
With over 15 years of experience in the personal development industry, she has worked with clients from all walks of life, helping them overcome their fears and obstacles to achieve their dreams.
In this interview, Keisha shared her insights on how to overcome adversity, find inner strength, and live a fulfilling life.
Hey Keisha, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
Of course! Well, I'm an entrepreneur, leadership trainer, business coach, course creator, and author. On top of that, I'm a wife and a mother of three. I'm really passionate about helping people live purpose-filled lives, achieve financial freedom, build healthy relationships, and find success as entrepreneurs.
That's really interesting! What inspired you to pursue this career path?
Although I started out studying technology, I found myself naturally drawn to helping people. I loved guiding individuals from all sorts of backgrounds on how to overcome everyday issues and cultivate a positive mindset. After a while, I realized that coaching, training, and speaking were far more satisfying than anything else I could be doing, and that's what prompted me to shift my focus and pursue what I was meant to do.
So how do you help people reach their full potential?
As a speaker, I'm always trying to empower people to not just survive tough circumstances, but to thrive and use those challenges to their advantage. And as the founder of Legacy Builder Academy, I help individuals on their journey to entrepreneurship and assist those who want to become better leaders and communicators.
That's really impressive. What's your latest business venture?
Right now, my main focus is on Legacy Builder Academy, where we mentor and train leaders to become more effective communicators and better overall leaders.
That sounds like a great program. Can you share a few interesting facts about yourself that most people might not know?
Sure thing! First off, I love dirt bikes, ATVs, and hiking more than shopping at the mall any day. Second, I'm a big supporter of the right to bear arms and enjoy going to the gun range. And third, I used to hate the idea of having children and swore I would never have any of my own.
What inspires you during moments when you feel defeated?
For me, my main source of inspiration is the Bible. It provides a constant source of strength and guidance, and it helps me grow and move forward even when I'm feeling low.
If you could entitle this chapter of your life, what would it be?
I would call it "Like A Phoenix From The Ashes - I Blossom." A few years ago, I found myself being led in a direction that I knew didn't benefit the mission of my brand. My voice and objections were shut down, and everything quickly faded away. However, I was encouraged by my mother to arise and walk into what I was created to do, and that's when I realized that I needed to rebuild my confidence and faith. Now, as I rise from the ashes, I'm becoming the most beautiful version of myself.
That's a great title. So what inspirational message would you share with someone who is feeling overwhelmed with life at this moment?
I would say that you're not alone and that many people have faced similar challenges and have overcome them. Remember to take care of yourself, focus on what's going right, and don't be afraid to reach out for help. You are stronger than you think, and you have the power to make positive changes in your life.
Lastly, how can people get in touch with you online and offline?
